Our Mission

Nacogdoches Core is dedicated to reducing feline overpopulation through targeted Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs and community education. Our mission is to foster a healthier community for both cats and people by providing accessible resources, such as low-cost vaccine clinics in partnership with local rescues, and offering educational workshops that empower pre-vet students with essential veterinary skills.

Safeguarding Their Health.

It is important to remember that not all plants are safe for cats, even simple house plants can be fatal to a feline. Some examples of harmful plants include lilies, aloe vera, cut leaf philodendron, pothos, jade plants, snake plants, sago palm, and English ivy. It is recommended that cat owners not keep these plants in their home since cats are notorious for getting into things they shouldn’t.
